off to taiwan!!

two days to go and i'm off to taipei, taiwan for my vacation. unfortunately, out of the original 6 that were interested in going....only myself and my friend cherry are going. sunny...is finally coming back to taiwan after galavanting around europe and china since june. talk about a panic attack!! cherry and i were setting up a reservation to stay at a hostel because i haven't heard from sunny...but i finally got hold of her roommate. sunny is arriving tomorrow and everyone is aware that we're coming and planning on picking us up. the biggest disappointment was the idea that i'd fly 10,000 miles over and miss seeing my friend. i'm soooooo happy to know that sunny will be there...i can't wait to see her. i'm also looking forward to seeing doug and jane and of course zenda!

things are going fine...plugging away at work and school. i was hit by a car while riding my scooter home though! the lady had her blinker on to turn left...i passed on the right...and she decided to turn right and hit me. i fell off the bike and fractured my right kneecap. the lady is not cooperating and i have a lawyer on the case. i just want my scooter paid for...the report and cop both stated that she's at fault. i'm not going for her jugular or anything, but damn...she made a mistake...there was damage...she's liable...pay for it. a scooter tire doesn't cost an arm and a leg...and i refuse to get shafted. we'll see what happens.

amy is back in texas and things are going good. she's currently here visiting and packing up some more stuff to take back down. we leave tuesday to go see van halen in chicago...stay overnight in madison and then she takes off back to texas...amanda heads up north and i head off to taiwan!!
