bad blogger here...i realize it's been a long, long, long time since i've last updated. here's a synopsis;

*maggie graduated from doggie school.

*christi...my niece...tried committing suicide and survived.

*1st year anniversary of my mom's death came and went...still miss her deeply.

*adopted a golden retriever and named her molly....you saw her picture above.

*finished spring semester and working on summer science classes...so far, so good.

*planning a trip to visit taiwan in october. my friend cherry and i are heading out together.

*a spattering of camping weekends with my golden girls this summer.

*found a place in wausau (an hour away) that serves bubble tea!! definate find of the summer.

*took the golden girls to canada, brought all our paper work of their vaccines, etc. only to have the border guy ignore them. bought lots of chocolate and maple sugar candies!

*maggie learned how to swim! she looks as if she's drowning, but she gets where she needs to be.

*my best friend relocated to texas to move in with a man she's known less than 2-ish months... for money and possibly love...and in that order. we won't get into my thoughts on that subject.

i don't have any terribly exciting news...which is one reason why i haven't updated since january. i'm trying to save money...not doing very well...so, my camping weekends are usually nearby. this weekend the girls and i are going to picture rocks...a very beautiful park on the shore of lake superior. i'm taking a boat cruise, the boat company has free boarding kennels while i'm on the boat. i've met a really cool guy and a first date is in the works...we'll see how that goes. hope you all enjoyed the pictures!
